A Workshop with Leo (she/her) and Be (all pronouns).
Awareness and a discrimination-sensitive attitude are essential components of any feminist work and are especially important when organizing events and group processes. In this workshop, participants will learn a basic understanding of awareness and concrete options for action in cases of discrimination and violence. In addition to theoretical inputs, there will also be practical parts to apply what has been learned. For example, the following topics will be covered: Handling of victims at events, prevention and intervention with discriminating or violent perpetrators, awareness in group (processes). The emphasis is on an open and appreciative atmosphere that provides space for questions and exchange. Participation in a follow-up discussion (approx. 4 weeks after the workshop) is a prerequisite for participation.

A Workshop with Keniya from EmBIPoC.
Racism is everywhere in Germany. But many do not know what it means. Everyone must fight against racism. We have to reflect ourselves. What is racism? What is it like to live in a racist society? The workshop wants to help us to deal with whiteness. We should develop a perspective critical for racism and be sensitized.
Language: German, English possible

A lecture with Maike Jebasinski (dgb).
Women+ want to go their own way in working life, be on an equal footing with men, (fairly) share family tasks with their partners, and provide for themselves instead of being dependent on others. But the reality is often different. We take a look at why women* are often economically dependent and work together on concrete tips and ways to strengthen our independence.
Note from the Zwischenfunken Kollektiv:
It is not only women who often find themselves in conditions of economic dependency. This can affect all people who experience discrimination in the patriarchal financial system due to institutionalized inequalities with regard to gender or class.

During the event we will go into the history of the revolution and work out together how the current situation came about. We will also explain the structures that prevail in the Islamic Republic and what we can do from here to support the people of Iran in their struggle for freedom. In particular, we shed light on the role of the Iranian FLINTA+.

A poetry reading with SchwarzRund.
SchwarzRund performs, reads, thinks and questions the norm of explaining. It unites essays and poems against the compulsion to justify one's existence in a white, straight world. SchwarzRund leaves the terrain of flowery marginalized justification texts. Poetry is not a luxury, this poetic-narrative triad is resistance. I. Breathing negotiates life under constant pressure of expectations, due to the hope to change something only in this way. II. Holding your breath speaks relentlessly about how everyday life feels between Bottrop, NSU and marginalization. III. Breathing out is about the courage to dance, to love and to fight. Words that celebrate queer, black existence excessively, let the breath flow again.
Language: German
Max. number of participants: unlimited
Barriers: Texts/poems can be sent in advance to SchwarzRund for translation into easy language.

A lecture and discussion with Francis Seeck.
Discrimination based on class origin and class membership fundamentally defines our society. Classism limits access to housing, educational attainment, health care, power, participation, recognition, and money. The lecture will introduce this often forgotten form of discrimination.
It is also about the question: How does classism manifest itself in our society, and what can we do against it?

A lecture and discussion with Nils Raupach from PETZE Institut für Gewaltprävention.
Putin justifies the war of aggression on Ukraine among other things with a campaign against the rights of LGBTIQ+ people in the "decadent West". AfD claims "foreign" men bring sexual violence to Germany. In Austria and Germany, associations ranging from neo-Nazis to members of bourgeois parties are running a storm against readings of children's books on the topic of gender roles at kindergarten age. Violent right-wingers call for the death penalty for sex offenders and vigilante justice.
Nils Raupach from the PETZE Institute for Violence Prevention will present that these phenomena stem from a self-contained worldview that is far removed from reality. Afterwards, we want to discuss what we can do to counteract this.

A Workshop with Keniya from EmBIPoC.
Schools in Germany have a major racism problem. Movements like #metoo show that racism in schools is not an isolated case, but a structural problem that needs to be addressed.
In order to break up racist mechanisms, it is important to deal with them and to reflect one's own role. In the workshop there will be an input part about racism in schools, in order to work out strategies for action and empowerment together. The workshop is open to all, but especially welcomes (prospective) teachers to deal with the topic because of their great responsibility.

A Workshop with Nene Opoku from Black Earth Kollektiv.
Audre Lorde already said: "There is no such thing as a single-issue struggle because we do not live single-issue lives".
The ongoing climate change exemplifies the structural relations of exploitation of humans and nature that are interwoven with the climate crisis. While everyone agrees that we need climate justice, what does it mean exactly? Where do the origins of the concept lie? What injustices should we critize? In this workshop, the connections between colonialism, racism, and the climate crisis will be shown from a racism-critical and decolonial perspective, and basic knowledge about the concept of climate justice will be provided.

In this workshop we engage with our lustful bodies as FLINTA+ people. The afternoon is a mixture of verbal exchange and practical sensing exercises. Thereby consensus is put into practice! Through guided body awareness methods you will get the opportunity to feel your own body. In the group you can perceive your closeness-distance needs and discover yourself with your lustful needs. During the workshop everyone is clothed and touching takes place only after consultation and mutual consent.

A Workshop with Esther-Sophie Wehrhahn from PETZE-Institut für Gewaltprävention.
Hashtags are used deliberately in social media with the aim of increasing reach. Sometimes it is hashtags that put young people under pressure and have more to do with sexualized violence than they think. Nearly half of girls, a quarter of boys, and over half of queer youth feel harassed by unwanted confrontation with images and videos. In addition, there is harassment from sexualized advertisements online. The extent to which sexualized violence starts with sexism and how young people can react to it, what value-based media competence is and which and what recommendations for action there are, that's what we want to talk about in this workshop.

A Workshop with Debora Antmann (she/her).
We are intellectualized and at the same time told to be whiny victims. This leaves little room to talk about and feel for how we are doing or to care for ourselves. Yet self-care has been part of the Jewish cultural canon for millennia, even without a fancy hashtag. We will look at what rites of passage have been installed in Jewish traditions to provide self-care, and which of these we might be able to transform into our daily lives. We will learn together to find them in order to create our own concepts of self-care from our own respective Judaism. The workshop is a protected space for Jews (Halacha has NO relevance).
Language: German
Max. number of participants: 15
Barriers: The participants work things out for themselves and present them later. Since this is a protected space, there will be no translators present.
Other information: Jews only. Children allowed. However, it should be considered whether there is room to freely express one's own emotions, as well as doubts, worries, fears and questions.
A Workshop with Verena Wenzler and Runa Lück from pia - pro familia in Action (she/her).
In this workshop we will work on the topic of consent. For this purpose, a complex topic will be approached in different ways. First, Verena Wenzler and Runa Lück will give a lecture with the help of sociological and legal perspectives to provide a definition and classification in current discourses. This will be followed by a phase of guided self-reflection in which participants will be given the opportunity to examine their own boundaries and self-perception. This is followed by a moderated discussion in which the participants work together on a more general level to identify the conditions that need to be in place for the successful perception and maintenance of boundaries and how they can work towards the goal of informed consent.
Language: German
Max. number of participants: 30
Barriers: The participants work things out for themselves and present them later. Since this is a protected space, there will be no translators present.
Other information: Principally, it is possible to bring children along, but the workshop with its content and methods is aimed at an adult target group. We do not want to exclude people who have to take care of/bring their children due to the circumstances, but we would like to make it clear that the workshop is not designed for children as a target group.

In this interactive workshop, we will look at the history of the I-word as well as the I-word obsession in Germany, why Karl May was Hitler's favorite author, how the Nazis took a cue from the mistreatment of indigenous people during colonial times, and the impact of anti-indigenous racism in Germany, among other topics. In addition, we analyze a case study together. Julia is 23, comes from Leipzig and is a non-binary, fat, neurodivergent, indigenous person and part of the counseling collective DisCheck. With Ruby Rebelde
Talking about sex work in feminist spaces can be tricky because beliefs about prostitution are socially deeply embedded in the deep story and thus often occur unconsciously. The workshop does not address a positioning pro or contra sex work, but offers a space to trace one's own attributions and thought patterns about sex workers. In which cultural, institutional or individual contexts does hostility towards sex work exist and what does it look like in concrete terms? What options are there for action? How does "tolerance" become inclusion and what role do antifeminism and hostility to democracy play in the discourse on sex work?
Barriers: The speaker will make every effort to answer questions. A supporting person for people with learning difficulties, as well as a translator, are welcome.

A talk with Lava Khwahish, Rüdan Chranje from EmBIPoC and Bahara Khosravan from DRK KIel e.V..
"Ain't I a woman" - migrant perspectives on feminism still don't find the place they deserve in the general public. Therefore, we want to create a space to talk about feminism in a roundtable discussion with our guests: about exclusions, such as (anti-Muslim) racism and the discomfort with the concept of feminism, but also about solutions and alternative approaches, such as Islamic feminism. All participants are invited to join the discussion.

FLINTA+ people find it difficult to enter the world of DJing. Broculture and classic stereotypes are still reproduced today: Even in 2021, there were only 27% female-read music acts at festivals worldwide, male 59% (Female Pressure; Fact Survey 2022). A room full of male-read people seems intimidating. An entire scene anyway. Especially starting and getting a foothold is hard. FLINTA+ are unfortunately still not taken seriously. But sharing music is something extraordinarily beautiful: We want to show you that. We want to invite you to take a look into the practice of the DJ. In our workshop you can make your first experiences with the technology, ask questions and gain first practical knowledge of DJing.

A workshop with Embreast Yourself.
Outside the context of sexuality, illness and breastfeeding, the breast often represents an object of evaluation in our society. There are few possibilities to get other perspectives and approaches to the breast. In the embreast yourself breast art workshop we deal with the breast in an artistic creative process. In the workshop, everyone is topless. In the process, you will apply paint to your (naked) breast and let your creativity run wild as you apply it to a canvas. It takes place in an enclosed space that will be transformed into a safe(r) space together. The workshop is for all who consider themselves FLINTA. No previous experience is required - clothes that can get dirty are.

A workshop with the Dödel Hochschulgruppe CAU.
We are a university group at CAU and deal with critical masculinities, i.e. stereotypical/ideal-typical images of masculinity, and their impact on society. Our goal is to contribute to a more feminist society by recognizing our individual privileges, becoming aware of societal problems, and getting to the bottom of injustices. In the form of a World Café we want to use the workshop to get into conversation with you about any topics around masculinity. Everyone is welcome, regardless of previous contact with the topic!

Unwanted pregnancy. A 43-year-old woman with two children. A 28-year-old mother, victim of domestic violence. A 23-year-old man, finally arrived at sex. A 27-year-old woman conflicted between faith and career. A 16-year-old, about to graduate from high school, she would like to study. Every fourth German woman terminates a pregnancy in her lifetime. Abortions are not an isolated case, so why do we treat them this way? "Wir Allein", a short film by Quinn Husmann and Fem*Med Kiel, addresses the diversity of abortionists and their situations. Afterwards, in cooperation with ProFamilia Kiel, we offer an exchange about the topic, because - we are not alone.

Workshop offered by Women in Exile.
It is important to address racism, sexism and homophobia in connection with refugee movement. On the outside we try to have a united fight, but from THE inside there are a lot of divisions depending on privileges. Some of us practice racism, sexism and homophobia without even being aware of it. This comes sometimes from the refugee and sometimes from the supporters. It is important to know ones limitation in terms of support. Supporters sometimes spend a lot of energy trying to support individuals but forget that this cannot be forever and forget it is more important to empower these individuals: “do not give me fish but show me how to fish”. We refuse a concept of the supporter-supported relationship as one part only giving and the other only taking. Instead, we want to work on our own concept of working together in solidarity."

Workshop offered by Maria Moschus.
Drag has no boundaries or rules. It breaks the gender binary and plays with prejudices and expectations. What kind of masculinity, femininity and genderqueerness do I experience in my everyday life? What representation of gender would I like to feel, see, and experience more? The workshop is for everyone who feels like testing and breaking down these categories. We combine resistance and protest with fun and art by experimenting with ourselves. We will prepare a little show and if you want to you can present it at an open stage on saturday. But it is not mandatory to present anything! Feel free to bring make up, mirrors or drag outfits! If you don't have anything to bring, that's no problem either.

Zine-Workshop offered by Ulla Schaffenberg .
What does it actually mean to have a family? What needs and feelings does the term imply? How can we look at these feelings and needs and have fulfilling relationships outside of traditional (biological) family constellations? In this zine workshop under the guidance of Ulla Scharfenberg (she/-) you will create a zine (= short for "magazine") within four hours in which you can record your thoughts and insights on the topic of (chosen) family. You don't need any previous knowledge or background to participate. We would like to exhibit your work afterwards.

Comic reading with Vina Yun .
Vienna in the 1970s. Long before hi-tech made in Korea, kimchi hype and "Gangnam Style", the first Korean nurses came to Austria as "guest workers". They were brought to alleviate the acute nursing shortage that was already prevalent in many European countries at the time. Vina Yun's Homestories follows the traces of this little known and so far hardly documented migration history. The comic also tells the story of the children of the immigrants of that time, the so-called second generation, growing up: an everyday life in the pimpled Alpine Republic in the "golden era" of social democracy, between Bruno Kreisky and teen magazines, acid house and the Waldheim affair, everyday racism and Whitney Houston. Homestories is a semi-documentary comic about experiences of (post-)migration as well as generational relations and family relationships in the diaspora.

A lecture with Sascha Thierry Esequiyl Rubel .
What does non-binary mean? What are the people behind it? Maybe you've been told not to call a person "Mr." or "Ms." and you're wondering: Why don't I notice non-binary people in everyday life? To explore the question, let's look together at why non-binary people remain socially unseen. We will explore what the 'gender binary' actually means and how it is historically connected to oppression and patriarchy. We also want to talk about what non-binary people need in society. In the exchange round we can share our experiences, network as affected people and ask questions as non-affected people in order to learn to live in a more discrimination-critical way. No / little previous knowledge is necessary.

A workshop with Clara Boeck (she/her).
Not all people are equally affected by the consequences of climate change. At the same time, people who suffer the least from the climate crisis contribute the most to climate change. In this workshop, we will discuss the conditions and structures that underlie climate injustice and reflect on our own privileges. Together, different possibilities will be developed to achieve more climate justice and to counteract the climate crisis. The focus is on the practice of these possibilities and how people can become active themselves, taking into account their own resources and limitations.

Do people with disabilities feel represented in the feminist bubble? How should feminist discussions be framed in terms of inclusion? What do events that strive for accessibility need to consider? And why do FLINTA+ have a particularly hard time in the health care system? We want to discuss these and other questions together. Often disability is a blank space in the intersectional debate. A reading with Andrea Corinna Schöne.
Ableism as a word to describe discriminatory experiences of people with disabilities, chronic and mental conditions is very well known. Ableism goes even deeper, but is still very unknown in the German-speaking world. Here it is not only about aggressive, violent experiences. It is also about how the non-disabled dominant society evaluates the abilities of disabled people and decides who is considered "normal" and who is not. Andrea Schöne has written one of the first books in German on this form of discrimination. In it, she brings together scientific and activist perspectives, along with her own experiences. In the reading we will go into ableist phenomena, how humans can do better. No previous knowledge necessary.
